DIRECT DRIVE BELT DIRECT DRIVE BELT 3 TYPE No. DDK2 The left and right spirals are alternately embedded and connected by a crimped rod and driven by a dedicated sprocket. The dedicated sprocket is designed by specification of belts. The left-wound and right-wound spirals are arranged alternately and jointed with the pre-crimped rods. Since the direct sprocket drive is applied, the belt must conform to the specific specification. Feature Advantages ●As driven by sprocket, no slip meandering. Because the sprocket is used for driving, slip and meandering do not occur. ●Since rotating diameter can be reduced, transfer of transport material is smooth. Since the rotation diameter at terminals is small, smooth load transfer is ensured. ●Our proprietary Hardy-2 ※This belt uses less stretchy and hard to deform. Because Kansai's unique Hardy-2 (※) is used, the belt is characterized by little elongation and high deformation resistance. ●Light weight because the number of parts is smaller than a belt with a chain. As compared to the chain driven belt DDK2 requires smaller number of component parts, so that it is lighter. ●Washing is easy because there is little dead space. Because of reduced dead space, easy washing is ensured. ●The standard specification of the belt is fixed, making it easy to select. In addition, since the hardness is increased by 30% or more, it excels in wear resistance and has a longer life. By making the belt Hardy-2, it realizes reliable driving and long life. Because of increased hardness (by more than 30%) it has excellent wear resistance and longer service life.
