DIRECT DRIVE BELT 3 TYPE No. DDK2 The left-handed and right-handed spirals are alternately incorporated, and driven by a dedicated sprocket in a type connected by a crimped rod. The dedicated sprocket is designed by specification of belts. The left-wound and right-wound spirals are arranged alternately and jointed with the pre-crimped rods. Since the direct sprocket drive is applied, the belt must conform to the specific specification. Feature Advantages ●As driven by sprocket, no slip meandering. Because the sprocket is used for driving, slip and meandering do not occur. ●Since rotating diameter can be reduced, transfer of transport material is smooth. Since the rotation diameter at terminals is small, smooth load transfer is ensured. ●Our own Hardy-2 ※It is a belt with low elongation and hard to deform. Because Kansai's unique Hardy-2 (※) is used, the belt is characterized by little elongation and high deformation resistance. ●Light weight because the number of parts is smaller than a belt with a chain. As compared to the chain driven belt DDK2 requires smaller number of component parts, so that it is lighter. ●Washing is easy because there is little dead space. Because of reduced dead space, easy washing is ensured. ●The standard specification of the belt is fixed, making it easy to select. Since the standard specification of belts has been established, selection is easy. ●It is a system with low total cost. The system is characterized by lower total cost. Hardy-2 uses SUS304 hard wire having hardness increased by more than 30%. Table 1 1 2 3 4 This graph shows the growth of ordinary products at a certain level of load to 100. In addition, since the hardness is improved by 30% or more, the wear resistance is excellent and the life span is longer. By making the belt Hardy-2, reliable driving and long life are achieved. As is evident from the figure the elongation of Hardy-2 is smaller than that of ordinary belts. Because of increased hardness (by more than 30%) it has excellent wear resistance and longer service life. Depending on the type, it is available to install a U-bar to prevent the product from falling. Material is SUS 304 or hard carbon steel. wire diameter 3mm or less type is called R1S. Both ends of straight wire are bent, and the wires having bent ends are assembled. These belts are most simple ones. Some versions can be provided with the U bars preventing products falling. Feature Advantages ●Since the chain is driven by sprockets, there is no meandering.
