Regardless of past experience or preconceptions,
It is really important to identify what customers need.

Q1. Please tell me what your current job is and how rewarding it is.

S.Y.

The Management and Supervisory Department to which I belong is the department in charge of all the backyard tasks of a company, such as general affairs, accounting, finance, personnel and labor, and general affairs. Among them, I am mainly in charge of personnel and labor, but I do not do that alone, I often do general affairs and accounting, and while covering all the members, Kansai Wire Netting is able to carry out business activities smoothly, and to create an environment where all employees can work comfortably.

T.Mo.

When I joined the company, Mr. S.Y was very helpful in everything from selection to various procedures. I can do my best here because of S.Y. (laughs)

T.Ma.

The sales department to which I and T.Mo. belong regularly visits customers, mainly in the manufacturing industry, to hear about issues and concerns at the manufacturing site. We use a wide variety of products, such as wire mesh, filters, and conveyor belts, to solve the issues we asked, but our customers' issues are very different, and it is necessary to respond to custom-made rather than ready-made products. The fun and difficult part of Kansai Wire Netting is that we can do business activities that solve such problems.

T.Mo.

The process until it is completed, such as having meetings with customers many times or asking the company to overdo it, is really difficult, but the joy of being able to deliver safely is a great pleasure, and it is the real pleasure of sales and a privilege to see the customers who are pleased directly.

T.Ma.

I'm impressed every time a product that I've worked hard is actually running for the first time at the customer, and I can always see how much I'm tired of seeing it.

S.Y.

I am the same in terms of difficulty and rewarding, and among the personnel labor that I mainly engage in, hiring new graduates is a very long period from internship to joining the company, so I have the strongest feelings, and when I was greeted successfully, I feel the most "good to do it."

Q2. What are the attitudes and attitudes needed to do a good job?

S.Y.

Since I joined the company and experienced various tasks, the range of things I can do has expanded, and recently the number of jobs that can be entrusted to me has increased. However, even though the amount of work has increased, I feel at the same time that if I can only do the same work as before, I will gradually be chased by work and will not be able to perform well. I have taken external training the other day to improve operational efficiency. What I learned was the idea of "time management", and to be specific, even if I thought that this job could be done in 30 minutes, it actually took more than an hour, and vice versa, I was able to realize my problem that the difference between the plan and the actual is large. From that point on, we have started reviewing our daily operations from scheduling, which has led to improvements in operational efficiency.

T.Mo.

That way of thinking is also important for sales, isn't it? In order to avoid such discrepancy, our sales focus is on communicating intimately with our customers and building relationships that make sure they remember their name first when something happens.

T.Ma.

A few years after joining the company, I also feel that when I get used to work, I will learn how to do it, which may become preconceptions and hinder the work. What I've been trying to do lately is to make proposals from the customer's point of view, not at your own convenience. After gaining experience, I think that this is a solution to this problem, but it is most important to identify what customers really need without prejudice. To this end, we will conduct interviews with customers from a zero basis, and make full use of Kansai Wire Netting's abundant product lineup and technical capabilities to always consider the best plan for our customers.

We value honesty, honesty, and curiosity.
I would like to take on the challenge of each business seriously.

Q3. What are the good things about Kansai Wire Netting and what do you want to change?

T.Mo.

It would be nice to have a good support system for young employees. I still have a short day after joining the company, and there are still many immature points as sales, but my seniors are one-on-one, and I am very grateful that they are easy to hear even if there are things I do not understand.

T.Ma.

As I mentioned earlier, Kansai Wire Netting's sales are problem-solving, but the degree of freedom is high, and each salesperson has to think about solutions themselves and move their work. Of course, I check with my boss each time, but if it's not wrong, even young people like me will respect their thoughts, and there is a culture that supports the challenge. Of course, as a result, there are times when you fail, but in such a case, there is also a dependency to back up with everyone, so I think it's a very good place to be able to challenge yourself without hesitation.

S.Y.

I think the best thing about Kansai Wire Netting is the strength of teamwork, there are many people who take care of them, only those who help them when they are in trouble or willing to take care of what they asked for. I think it's best. We, the Career Recruitment Group, must pass on this corporate culture to the next generation.

T.Ma.

On the other hand, due to the influence of such corporate culture, there are very few people who retire, and there are few young employees overall, so I want S.Y. to do my best here (laughs), and I want you to hire young employees more and more regardless of new graduates or careers.

S.Y.

I will do my best to meet your expectations, so if you are in trouble, please help me (laughs).

Q4. Tell me what you want from someone who works with you.

T.Mo.

To be honest and not to lie, this is absolutely necessary. For example, if you do not report to your boss that it is inconvenient for you about the content of business negotiations with a customer, or if you tell a lie, the boss will give advice based on the wrong information, which will not only cause inconvenience to the customer, but can also lead to significant damage to the company's trust. If you are a person who can honestly face any job, reflect on failures or mistakes, and report them honestly, you should be able to grow under the warm corporate culture of Kansai Wire Netting.

T.Ma.

I totally agree with it, and if I add, I want you to be curious about anything. It is also important to be interested in our products and to acquire more knowledge, and sometimes we are asked for chats from customers, so those who are interested in the events that are taking place in the world as much as possible are suitable for Kansai Wire Netting.

S.Y.

As a position involved in recruitment, I think that is exactly what the two are saying, and of course, the skills such as knowledge and skills are important when working, but we are hiring with an emphasis on personality such as humanity and personality, and as a result, many employees have been working for a long time in line with the corporate culture. I would like to continue this policy and hire more and more young employees who will be responsible for the next Kansai Wire Netting.
