Regardless of past experience or preconceptions,
It is most important to identify what customers really need.

Q1. Please tell me what your current job is and how rewarding it is.

S.Y.

The Management & Supervisory Department to which I belong is the department in charge of all backyard operations in the company, such as general affairs, accounting, finance, human resource labor, and general affairs. Among them, I am mainly in charge of personnel and labor, but I do not do that alone, but I often do business such as general affairs and accounting. It is our role to create an environment that allows Kansai Wire Netting to carry out business activities smoothly, and that all employees can work comfortably.

T.Mo.

When I joined the company, S.Y. took great care of everything from selection to various procedures. I can do my best here because of S.Y. (laughs)

T.Ma.

The sales department, which I and T.Mo. belong to, regularly visits customers, mainly in the manufacturing industry, to hear about issues and concerns at the manufacturing site. We use a wide variety of products, such as wire mesh, filters, and conveyor belts, to solve the issues we asked, but our customers' issues are very different, and we need to be tailor-made instead of ready-made products. The fun and difficult part of Kansai Wire Netting is that we can do such problem-solving sales activities.

T.Mo.

The process until it is completed, such as having meetings with customers many times or asking the company to overdo it, is really difficult, but the joy of being able to deliver safely is a great pleasure and privilege to see the customer being pleased directly is the real pleasure of sales.

T.Ma.

I'm impressed every time the product that I've worked hard is actually running for the first time at the customer, and I can always see how much I'm tired of seeing it.

S.Y.

I feel the same in terms of difficulty and rewarding, and among the personnel labor that I mainly engage in, hiring new graduates has a very long period of time from internship to joining the company, so I have the strongest regard, and when I was greeted successfully, I feel the most "good to do it."

Q2. What are the attitudes and attitudes needed to do a good job?

S.Y.

As I joined the company and experienced various tasks, the range of things I can do has expanded, and recently the number of jobs that can be entrusted to me has increased. However, even though the amount of work has increased, I feel at the same time that if I can only do the same work as before, I will gradually be chased to work and will not be able to perform well. I have taken external training the other day to improve operational efficiency. What I learned was the idea of "time management", and to be specific, even if I thought that this job could be done in 30 minutes, it actually took more than an hour, and vice versa, I was able to realize my problem that the difference between the plan and the reality is large. Since then, we have been reviewing our daily work schedule, which has led to improvements in operational efficiency.

T.Mo.

That idea is also important for sales, isn't it? If you misunderstand how long and at what level you have to respond to your request, this may damage your trust, so we are working with our customers to communicate intimately and to build relationships that allow them to remember their name first when something happens.

T.Ma.

A few years after joining the company, I feel that when I get used to work, I will learn how to do it, and that may become preconceptions and interfere with work. What I've been trying to keep in mind lately is to make proposals from the customer's point of view rather than personal convenience. After gaining experience, I think that this is a solution to this problem, but it is most important to identify what customers really need without prejudice. To this end, we will conduct interviews with customers from a zero basis, and make full use of Kansai Wire Netting's abundant product lineup and technical capabilities to always consider the best plan for our customers.

Take care of honesty, honesty, and curiosity,
I would like to take on each and every task seriously.

Q3. What are the good things about Kansai Wire Netting and what do you want to change?

T.Mo.

It would be nice to have a good support system for young employees. I still have a short day since I joined the company, and there are still many immature points as a salesman, but I am very grateful that my seniors are one-on-one as a coach, and even if I do not understand anything, I am very grateful that it is easy to hear.

T.Ma.

As I mentioned earlier, Kansai Wire Netting's sales are a problem-solving type, but the degree of freedom is high, and each sales person has to think about solutions themselves and move their work. Of course, I check with my boss each time, but if it's not wrong, even young people like me will respect their thoughts, and there is a culture that supports the challenge. Of course, as a result, there are times when you fail, but in such a case, there is also a dependency to back up with everyone, so I think it's a very good place to be able to challenge forward without hesitation.

S.Y.

I think the best thing about Kansai Wire Netting is the strength of teamwork, there are many people who take care of them, only those who help when they are in trouble, and who are willing to accept what they ask for. We, the Career Recruitment Group, must pass on this corporate culture to the next generation.

T.Ma.

On the other hand, due to the influence of such corporate culture, there are very few people who retire, and there are few young employees overall, so I want S.Y. to do my best here (laughs), and I want you to hire young employees more and more regardless of whether you are new graduates or careers.

S.Y.

I will do my best to meet your expectations, so if you are in trouble, please help me (laughs).

Q4. Tell us what you want from people who work with you.

T.Mo.

To be honest and not to lie, this is absolutely necessary. For example, if you do not report to your boss what is inconvenient for you about the content of a business meeting with a customer, or if you tell a lie, the boss will give advice based on the wrong information, which will not only cause inconvenience to the customer, but also significantly damage the trust of the company. If you are a person who can face any job honestly, reflect on any failure or mistake, and report it honestly, you should be able to grow under the warm corporate culture of Kansai Wire Netting.

T.Ma.

I agree with you at all, and to add that, I want you to be curious about anything. It is also important to be interested in our products and to acquire more knowledge, and since sales are sometimes required by customers to chat, those who are interested in the events that are taking place in the world as much as possible are suitable for the Kansai Wire Netting business.

S.Y.

As a position in hiring, I think that's exactly what the two people are saying, and of course, it's important to have skills such as knowledge and skills in working, but our company focuses on personality such as humanity and personality, and as a result, many employees have been working for a long time in line with our corporate culture. I would like to continue this policy and hire more and more young employees who will be responsible for the next Kansai Wire Netting.
