Work to propose products according to customer's issues,
The breadth and depth of the Kansai Wire Netting is the biggest attraction.
Q1. Please tell us the difference between your current job and what you thought when you joined the company.
- K.I.
-
I conduct daily sales activities at the Fukuoka branch. Our sales often manufacture and sell custom-made products according to customer's issues rather than selling ready-made products. We consult with our boss about the content of customer consultation, consider solutions together, and make proposals that satisfy our customers. The biggest difference from what I originally thought was is that it is necessary to propose products according to the customer's issues, so there are more things you need to learn than you imagined. Now, I'm still in a position to be honest that I don't know what I don't know, so first of all, I ask customers about your concerns and requests as much as possible, consult with my boss about it, and get advice, I'm gradually expanding the range of things I can do on my own, repeating the fact that I'm thinking about solutions on my own.

As a sales assistant that supports the work of sales professionals like K.I., I manage sales of the sales in charge, order and prepare related documents. What I noticed since I started working was that sales assistants were only working on receiving instructions from sales, but in fact sales often consulted the assistant about the characteristics of the product and the delivery date, etc. It means that the assistant needs so much knowledge and experience.

I belong to the Management & Supervisory Department of Osaka Head Office, and I am currently in charge of accounting work, accounting software input, payment procedures, etc. I heard from my senior that the job of the Management and Supervisory Department was "It's wide enough to say in a word," but I was very surprised that the width was really wider than I imagined. Like H.Y., I still have only a small part of my work, but I would like to work hard from what I can do so so that I can gradually expand my scope.
Q2. What are your motivations for joining the company?
- K.I.
-
I knew Kansai Wire Netting while looking for a company with a desire to be a sales job, and I thought that by engaging with companies in a variety of industries, I would always be able to continue working with a fresh feeling and interesting even after joining the company. I'm from Fukuoka, and it was hard to come to Osaka for selection, but I felt that I wanted to join more than that, so it didn't hurt.
- H.Y.
-
I was looking for a company as a clerk, and I was interested in the fact that I was dealing with wire mesh products that had no contact so far, so I wanted to participate in a briefing session. However, unfortunately, I couldn't apply because I was full and I didn't have any plans after that, so I gave up once, but I really wanted to participate, and when I called and asked, I accepted it happily . I felt that it was a company that puts first on job hunters, such as casually calling out and frequently contacting me during the subsequent selection, so I decided to join the company because I thought that I could do my best as a member of society.
- S.N.
-
I was the same as H.Y., and from the casual communication between employees who were seen during the selection and the response at the interview, it was the decisive factor that I thought I could do my best with these people.

Gain more experience, deepen your knowledge,
Eventually, I want to grow into an employee that anyone can rely on.
Q3. Have you changed your mindset and attitude to work on things since you joined the company?
- K.I.
-
In the past, I was rather not good at taking proactive actions from myself, but after joining the company, I started again saying, "It's natural that I don't know newcomers," and I became able to ask myself more and more questions. Also, even if you ask questions, seniors will answer carefully, so I think that is one of the reasons why I became active.
- S.N.
-
The way you think about money has changed the most. When I was a student, I took classes and paid for club activities, but when I became a member of society, I still have to learn and study, but I also receive money and salary. I am keenly aware of the weight of responsibility and the magnitude of expectations, and I want to hone myself so that I can do a job that matches the money I receive.
- H.Y.
-
My lifestyle has changed since I was a student. I still get up early in the morning and commute to work, work until night and return home, I repeat such days, so I can only understand the greatness of my parents who have been doing it for decades as a member of society.
Q4. Tell us about your dreams and goals for the future.
- H.Y.
-
My goal is to increase the number of jobs that I can do on my own. I am happy if I can do what I couldn't do, and I would like to work on my daily work without forgetting my growing feelings so that I can be an assistant who can leave my work with confidence from seniors and sales as a driving force.
- S.N.
-
My goal is to be able to do what I have taught so far by myself first, and to broaden the scope of what I can do. Now I can only see my work alone, but by expanding the scope, I would like to understand and understand each connection, the whole picture, and improve the quality of my work.
- K.I.
-
Without forgetting the aggressiveness I mentioned earlier, I would like to try various things, increase my experience, and acquire a wide range of product knowledge. I think there may be mistakes, but I want to continue challenging without being afraid. And eventually, I want to be able to get my unique features and weapons, and say, "K.I. is in Kansai Wire Netting."
